In 2000, Medi-Caps University in Indore was founded. The Times Engineering Survey 2022 placed the university first in Madhya Pradesh. According to i3RC Times Engineering, 2019 the institute was ranked #1 among Top Private Institute in Central India. The AICTE has granted Medi-Caps University approval. 

More than 50 UG, graduate, and doctorate degree programs in engineering, computer science, management, pharmacy, agriculture, and other fields are available at University Indore. The university's most popular degrees include the B.Pharma, which is an integrated BCA+MCA degree program; the BBA with 5 disciplines; the MBA with 4 disciplines; and the B.Tech with 11 branches and a variety of specializations. Additional courses offered by Medi-Caps University include degree programs in M.Tech, MCA, MA, M.Sc., B.Com, and B.Sc. The candidate's success in both the national entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam determines their admission to the university. Enrollment in the B.Tech program requires a valid JEE Mains score. The CMAT, CAT, and GMAT entrance exams are eligible for admission to the MBA Course. Student who wants to take admission in Ph.D., students must pass the CSIR/UGC NET exam with valid marks.

The university has an excellent placement history, with over 350 firms coming to campus to conduct on-campus recruitment. Universities highest package was INR 48 LPA in 2022.  During the placement a number of firms visit the campus, including Mahindra, Capgemini, Deloitte, TCS, and many more.

The institution offers CBCS specializations in addition to all of its core courses and first-rate campus facilities in order to promote student creativity and productivity.
